A tuner that behaves like an instrument, not a game.
TuneLab shows the note, the target frequency and the deviation in cents as a number, on a needle that follows the string instead of faking calm. A wobble readout says how much the tone actually drifts over the last second. Everything a tuner should simply have is free: chromatic mode, every preset, your own A4.
THE TUNER
- Chromatic, 40 Hz to 2 kHz, with note name and target frequency in plain sight
- Cents as a number, plus a needle; haptic tick when you land in tune
- The honest wobble readout: steady or drifting, in plus-minus cents, never smoothed away
- Raw microphone path, so noise suppression cannot smear the pitch
- Below 60 Hz the app says a phone mic gets vague, instead of pretending

The tuner is free and complete: chromatic mode, every preset and tuning, A4 calibration, without limits. That exact list sits behind a yearly subscription elsewhere; here it is simply the product. Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) and adds the intonation report: a guided pass per string, open plus 12th fret, with a saddle direction per string and a PDF for the bench, plus run history and the historical temperaments (just, meantone, Werckmeister). The price stays where it is when features land.
THE INTONATION REPORT (PRO)
Tune the open string, fret the 12th, and see per string how many cents the length is off and which way the saddle should move. For guitar techs, builders and players who want to know. Honest about its limits: cents are relative to your phone's mic and your A4, and pressing hard bends the note sharp, which the flow reminds you of.
