I wanted to delete it because - similarly to some other reviews here - I couldn't find the darned verification code in Telegram, and believed I never received it. PLEASE EXPLAIN TO YOUR NEW USERS, HOW TO FIND IT without having to do an extensive research on the web! Also, it could help if the message that contains the code would actually say that it is for Nekogram. Taking away one more star for not bothering to reply or address the issue.

I downloaded this app because it is advertised as open source and safe, but it was caught silently collecting user data without consent. The developer admitted to injecting data-stealing code into the Play Store builds while keeping the public GitHub code looking clean. This is a massive breach of trust that puts user anonymity and security at severe risk. Do not download this app, and make sure to terminate any active sessions immediately from your official settings.
