About this app

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language", the exam for obtaining a certificate of proficiency in the state (Ukrainian) language will start on July 16, 2021. The purpose of the exam is to determine the level of proficiency in the state language of persons applying for election or appointment to the positions specified in Parts 1, 2 of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language", in particular:
- deputies of local councils, officials of local self-government bodies;
- government officials;
- officers serving under contract military service;
- senior (middle and senior) members of the National Police, other law enforcement and intelligence agencies;
- members of the ranks, sergeants, and senior officers of the National Police, other law enforcement and intelligence agencies;
- prosecutors;
- judges;
- lawyers;
- notaries;
- heads of educational institutions of all forms of ownership;
- pedagogical, scientific-pedagogical and scientific workers;
- medical workers of state and communal health care institutions.

The exam for the level of proficiency in the state language contains three parts: "Language culture", "Reading" and "Speaking".

Questions from "Language culture" give an opportunity to a person to show the ability to follow norms at all language levels, to demonstrate lexical and word-building skills (understanding the expressive potential of synonyms, antonyms; accuracy in the use of homonyms and paronyms; the ability to avoid spatial words, jargon, slang, tautology; correct use word-forming means for forming the names of persons by profession, position, place of residence); knowledge in the field of business phraseology (stationery, stamps, language clichés); the ability to correctly apply the expressive possibilities of grammatical forms in an official business style; stylistic skill (established forms of structuring spoken and written text; forms of interpersonal communication).

The tasks of the "Reading" part are aimed at checking the ability of a person to fully understand the read text, critically interpret it, highlight the main or special information, understand the details of the text and establish relationships between its parts.

The "Speech" part involves a monologue message on a given topic, in which a person can demonstrate the ability to initiate a conversation, maintain and complete it, express his own opinion on the proposed topic during communication.

With the help of the proposed educational application, which contains a list of test questions with multiple-choice answers, you have the opportunity to take the practice test an unlimited number of times, which greatly facilitates and speeds up the preparation.

During the trial test, the application automatically selects 30 random tasks (47 points) for the performance of official duties.

The educational application is developed on the basis of the program and sample test questions of the National Commission on State Language Standards, published on January 11, 2024, as well as tasks from other open sources. The test questions are supplemented with the author's explanations regarding the norms and rules of the Ukrainian language.

Features and capabilities of the application:
- Random and proportional formation of the trial test;
- Testing by questionx of any selected sections: in a row, randomly or by difficulty (determined by the statistics of passing tests by all users of the application);
- Work on mistakes (testing on questions in which you made mistakes);
- The possibility of adding questions to the "favorites" and passing a separate test on them;
- Convenient search and viewing of answers without passing the test;
- Detailed justification of correct answers;
- Listening to questions and answers using speech synthesis;
- The application does not require an Internet connection - it works in offline mode.

Супер, але не задовольняє рендомність виникнення запитань при проведенні тестування. Під час багаторазового підряд тестування часто повторюються одні й тіж самі питання. А так в цілому добре.

Дуже добре! Як людина з великим досвідом використання тестових додатків хочу сказати, що це справді якісний та зручний продукт, що добре підійде для підготовки до екзаменів. Слава Україні!
