Checkers (AKA Draughts) is one of the world's most popular board games. The earliest records of this game date back to the Egyptians 3500 years ago. In England and Scotland this classic board game is known as Draughts. This implementation has been designed to provide a strong engine, even if only running on a mobile phone. lots of fun but changing levels requires a PhD it's hidden somewhere no-one knows where... :-( EDIT: developer responded super quickly 👌 upgrading from 3 to 5 stars, the app is awesome anyway!

great game. never got into checkers until this app came along. 5 stars except I bought the pro version from the Amazon App store, and even though I log in to the AppStore and launch the game, or launch from icon, it only plays a minute or so then says I'm not logged in and the game quits. this is newish behaviour. fix is?? also, what happens when Appstore shuts down. Can we reload from PlayStore without paying again? thx for the great game - pls build us a Freecell app!!! 🤗

Bare bones, but serviceable. AI is a good challenge even relatively low on the scale. Main thing it's missing is some of the more niche rules for declaring draws, or at least to call for draws automatically in stalemate endgames. It took me a while to figure out how to declare a draw manually. The undo function makes training and experimenting with early and middle games easy.
