A tough one to beat! I fancied myself a pretty good player, till I played this one. I don't think I've had a winning hand in a week! So guys, how bout puttin out a great cribbage that you can play against your friends at home? It would be awesome. We're all looking for it, but it just isn't out there - that's worth playing anyway!
Great for passing the time I play the game often. It always cause some good anxiety. I would like a few more options/improvements. Be able to play to 150, 200, 250.... I would also like a tornament option. Best score after 5 games including the bonus points. And lastly, I would like to see the back of the A.I. cards. Less rank A.I. make it easier to estvh how they arrange and move their cards. Higher ranked are trickier less obvious. Just like playing with a person. Thank you. :)
Great game. I played the hardest AI 100 times and won 63/100. I feel strongly that the AI does not cheat. A good player can predict what cards he is holding and keep cards that he wants. I think when the player is close to winning the AI gets more aggressive (holds riskier cards) but I'm not sure. Challenging and enjoyable at all levels of play due to the wide array of opponents.
good program...however .... After 450 games against the strongest cpu opponent, the program CONTINUES to lay down hands with 5 draws and LESS at a statistically abnormal rate, in its favor, of course. My hands are nowhere close to matching, while the cpu consistently draws the cards it needs and feeds me the exact cards I do not. Whatever the programmers say, it makes as much mathematical sense as saying a cpu player has "tendencies".
Very fun and well done Enjoy this, as many of the other games by this company, as much as can be expected. Great variety of players, simple play, and good fun all around. Only thing I wish was an option was to just tap the card to discard it, like in the other games. I know it is only another tap, but it is mildly annoying after playing Hearts, Euchre and Spades by the same company, and with the same opponents, and having to put that mental tap command in your mind.
Great for beginners! If you're just learning to play or relearning years after the last time you played, this is really good. It's like training wheels! Plus, most other gin rummy games I've looked at, I don't see where you can just play the computer. Also has varying levels of difficulty. I would definitely recommend this game.
