Gin Rummy is the third card game from AI Factory, and provides a highly polished interface that runs smoothly on all handsets. This game introduces drag and drop card play in addition to touch and go. As ever the game intelligence is finely tuned to provide a good range of opponents to give both the beginner and experienced player a good match. A key new feature for this product is CPU player "style".

Ratings and reviews

The ads USED to be minimum, but they recently made a change making it nearly impossible to play. The ad comes on, but doesn't go away. If you touch the screen at all, it takes you to your phone's store to download the ad app. Very frustrating. I used to love the game, but now I don't want to sit here for a minute or more with no timer, no bottom line marking the ad's progress, and not having a clue when I'll finally be able to access the game. The ads are just still pics with no escape.

After trying multiple gin rummy apps, this one is definitely my favorite. I have not encountered any ads between hands...one ad is shown only after the entire game has been completed. In my opinion, it doesn't get any better than that! Also, there are multiple avatars (opponents) to choose from, with a description of the playing habits of each one. This makes it much more fun to play this app. Give it a try!

I've been playing this Gin Rummy app for a few years on various devices. I loved it! Currently installed on 2 devices. Always enjoyed it, and the ads weren't too intrusive nor did they interfere with game play. Unfortunately that's all changed recently. Now the ads are NUMEROUS and OBNOXIOUS and they start before I even get to play. They also pop up DURING play if I wait "too long" to make a move. They pop up in between each round and you cannot close them until the timer runs out. But the BIGGEST problem now is the ADS now KILL ALL OTHER BACKGROUND SOUND. Listening to music while playing this app? Not anymore! It doesn't just *pause* sound, it kills your music/podcast/radio completely and closes your music player... even though ads are set to "silent." You have to leave your game, go open & restart your music/radio/podcast in between EVERY hand or round if you want to keep listening. The devs decision to change how ads are delivered has ruined this previously great app for me entirely. Uninstalling.
