since you are putting back the filter options I am revising the update. one additional thing that is not working but worked fine with the old version is the spot (point?) metering. any chance of fixing this?
Long time (paid) user. I can see what you're doing with the new app guys, and it's sort of cool and new users will love it, but I'm afraid it's not for me. The option to shoot with the filter in place rather than add it afterwards was the main reason I used Vignette over all the other camera apps and instagram clones. Without that functionality and the ability to edit and tweek the filter before shooting, there's not much reason for me to use the app anymore over the phone's built-in camera app. Sorry... I wish you well. PS. Any opportunity to access the old vers/apk would be appreciated. ***In reply to your question below, filters can certainly affect how you choose to compose the shot. Seeing in advance how the filter changes the view can make a big difference to how you choose frame it. I liked that functionality. It's not there any more. Such is life, I'll move on. But saying you're at a loss to understand why I preferred a piece of functionality you had in your own app for 8 years... Come on, guys. I understand you're getting undeserved flack for what is still a great app, but i made a valid point.
Hello, With the new app, are we able to control the film grain as mentioned in the update comment? meaning like grain size for example? Also, can we choose the colour of the pre-filter like yellow/red/blue? It works wonder for black and white photography. i could not find that in the new version. In the previous version, I could make it look a bit more like Tri-X by choosing both options under-expose and over-expose. Does it still work in the same way? Thank you for your help!
Much, much better before. New layout is no good. Have stop using since late June '17. What a shame
Just reinstalled the new version, and finally discovered the options to save and tweak filters, though some of the older tweaks (pastel colors) are still missing. Also please, please, make previews for each filter in the managing presets menu otherwise people won't know exactly which of their saved presets they're deleting. One last thing, people like having to select a filter first because sometimes it suits a location/situation better. It also gives people the feeling that they're going out with a toy/analog camera loaded with a specific film, which adds to the fun.
Changes, changes... That's good app right now. I miss possibility to make first changes before saving. Right now is almost like old vignette.
・"Wide instant film" and "Mini instant film" frames are now never upside-down.
・Autofocus works on LG Flex 2.
・The default focus mode is now "Autofocus", because it's easier for new users. If you prefer "Hybrid", change it in the camera settings menu.
・"New York" filter is the right colour now.
