There seems to be a bit of negativity over the latest update to what is my favourite photo app. Yes, the interface is different and that will take a bit if getting used to, however all the old stuff is still there, and it works faster. Have a favourite filter? Take any photo and then use the icons at the top of the screen to alter it to your fave, the app will now keep that choice until you alter it. If you select Random then you'll get a different effect each shot. You can also tweak the filters at this point too, so a bit different from the earlier version but still the same underneath.
I liked the filter options before, but my main concern was being able to tag photos with date and coordinates. While this still works, I can't seem to focus any of my pictures...is there something wrong with the focus feature?
We'll done for the recent update. This camera has always been my favorite and now it's so much easier (and more logical) to use. Love the effects and the fact that you can edit them.
I've been a longtime user and fan of Vignette - since 2010. The new app is a much needed step forward regarding the UI. However there are a few things I want at this point in order to give 5 stars. 1: Option for on-screen shutter button (which I believe has been there earlier). 2: Option to move ALL of the icons to the bottom of the screen. Big screens make Vignette a two-hand app as it is now. 3: Not a UI request but I've been comparing some shots side by side and I do think the stock Android produces sharper images with less noise. Please address these things. I really want to give Vignette 5 starts and regardless it will never leave my phone.
I've been using this app since 2011, and I think that we should cut them some slack since they're actually trying to improve things. I kind of miss the old effects menu with all of the cool customisation toggles like light leaks. Maybe provide unhappy users a download link for the older app?
I guess the concept don't fix what isn't broken doesn't apply here. I bought the app years ago because it was once the best app between both my iPhone and Android. After its latest downgrade It's time to say goodbye and move on.
Upside-down pictures on some devices should be fixed.
Random effect setting is sticky now, like it used to be.
