Live Buses and Real Time Departures: Browse and view buses and stops on the map, explore upcoming departures, or check out the routes from a stop to see where you could travel next.

Journey Planning: It’s now even easier to plan ahead with Reading Buses.

Timetables: We’ve squeezed the whole timetable into the palm of your hand.

Contactless Journeys: View the journeys you have made using your contactless cards and a breakdown of charges and savings.

Favourites: You can quickly save your favourite Departure Boards, Timetables and Journeys, with quick access from one convenient menu, or add a widget to your home screen for even quicker access.

Service updates: You’ll be able to keep up to date with disruption information from our Twitter feed inside the app.

I was so excited when i only recently discovered the 702 as it cost £2 1 way versus £19 all day tube fare. The app doesn't work so well but is ok. The worst aspect is if a bus is late or full, you are not given any information so you wait in limbo. Stood there for 2 hrs in freezing cold, with a toddler, 2 full buses went by, that's waiting 2 hrs for nothing. no clue if the next bus would stop, so we abandoned the whole trip. When it works it's great. When it doesn't, it is highlt problematic

Reliable service, super bus drivers doing a great job getting us places. App is good for timetables and buying tickets and great for tracking buses.

Very useful for mobile tickets and monitoring buses in real time, you can also purchase tickets on your laptop and they are instantly available on your mobile.
