About this app

Mini Piano Pro is a very responsive and realistic sounding piano for Android. It has been thoroughly optimized, resulting in a very enjoyable playing experience while keeping the install size to a minimum.

It's a top piano app for in your pocket. It features a full keyboard with 88 zoomable and scrollable keys, with various display modes (including Dark Mode). The default instrument is a beautiful sampled piano, that sounds like the real deal, but there are also 128 other instruments included that cover a wide range of instrument types.

The app has a great minimalistic design, that stays out of your way. You can record your ideas or songs as MIDI files and export them (on a later moment if you want) to MP3, AAC or WAV. Or use the MIDI file in your favorite editor.
Also included is a song mode with falling blocks, where you can learn to play new songs.

This Pro version has no ads and hasn't even a Internet permission.

So there you have it, a small but very powerful piano app, loved by many many users. Why not give it a try?

The app is optimized for phone, tablet and Chromebook.

I'm using this piano for reference pitches as I learn to tune real pianos, it's like having a full set of tuning forks in your pocket. The real sampled piano is great, the Bosendorfer is an excellent instrument, but for my purposes I'd like the option to have a sampled upright piano too. I primarily tune uprights and the temperament stretch is different between grands and uprights. If I could select samples of the type of piano I'm working on it would be utterly fantastic.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We are planning this year to add SF2 support. Which means you will be able to use any sample library you like.

Simple to get started with a handful of settings to change the sound and even record. I was excited to turn on my M-VAVE SMK-25 Bluetooth midi controller and Mini Piano Pro recognized and connected instantly! The keys worked as expected and the pads were automatically mapped to some basic drum sounds! It would be great to record these drum pad sounds. I would also love to tweak the drum sounds with an 808 kit etc. Speaking of recording, I would also love to loop the recording play back.

A pretty good keyboard app. You can do much worse and it's definitely worth getting if you wanna mess around with things. You can change instruments, transpose, add sustain (which is only really noticeable if you hold the key down rather than it ringing out after lifting like it should). There is some notable distortion when playing chords and is more pronounced on certain instruments. Also when opening the app there's sometimes no sound (which can be fixed by just closing it and opening again).
