The app is just okay. For a brief time, before the last update, there was a link in the app to browse the catalog through the app and one to browse on the Glendale Library website. I had created a list of books to check out and the app and the website would both populate the list separately from one another and my selections weren't the same across both. The issue seemed to resolve itself, but now the "browse the catalog" link only takes you to the website and my list is wonky again.

I love to use my public library and the convenience of having my account easily accessible through an app. However, I do not at all enjoy the set up of this mobile app and although easy to use, not at all inviting. I like to peruse the online catalogs for book interests to put on hold, but unlike other online forums for books this app is not a simple layout to find new interests without first knowing the author or title of the books you might like to read. Please make the catalog more inviting.

The website was moderately easy to navigate, but the app very easy to use. I can check the status of holds, checked out items, and complete self checkout from the app.
