Best app ever! I used to use 11 labs but they went crazy with their charges so I needed an alternative. After scouring the playstore I finally found this app & couldn't be happier. Best free app out there. I even bought the yearly subscription just to support the dev's. Realistic voices, text translator, reads on & offline, webpages, pdfs, epubs, kindle books, browser links, text inputs, ect. It's got car mode, dark mode, Depeche Mode, lol, this app really has it all. Support is awesome, too! 💙

Positives. An excellent price for someone who just wants audio books for long drives. The selection of voices are decent and sound pretty good. Cons. The interface does not fit the Boox Palma/Palma2. The entire right side of the screen is cut off, can barely select open library. No rotate screen. Add multiple books is painful. Add to library, initiate search, search author, select book, close book. Rinse and repeat to add entire series. Maximum of 10 books. Issue w/Palma bc can't remove any.

One problem. But it's a big one. It stops playing if you don't keep the app open on top. so if you switch to something else or turn the screen off it plays for around 60 seconds and then just pauses itself. I can't find a setting for this. It's extremely annoying. Almost every app I have can keep running without the screen up or in the background. And every app I have where that would be normal does. You know, media apps. It's day one and I may have to get a refund on this.
