I have tried the app in the beginning successfully, but the last 2-3 weeks it will not connect to the database. Edit- this has been resolved- Also having to constantly put in your pin to open the app, is not only annoying, but is actually a safety issue. It gives outsiders lots of opportunities to view my pin. When I get a notification for mbway it is buried in the app and hard to find.

This rating is both for the app and especially, the bank. The app is only helpful for basic functions. If you opt for in person, you might wait upwards of 2 hours for help. Employees don't know the protocol for depositing intl checks. Worse, a $139 deposited check hasn't cleared after nearly a month and they refuse to give me an exchange rate. The phone service only works sometimes and Activo employees have literally hung up on me when I've gotten frustrated with their mediocre service.

This app is a disaster. No notifications for important transactions, transfers, payments, etc, you just get very, very delayed (days after) mail spam about random useless statements. It's a maze to navigate and full of errors everywhere which make you have to repeat the process just to end up calling customer service to do it. It's a disgrace and needs a complete overhaul.
