About this game

Makasa is the card game you grew up playing — now on your phone.

If you've ever sat around a table with friends or family playing Crazy Eights the Zimbabwean way, you know Makasa. The stacking 2s. The brutal Jokers. The Ace that saves you at the last second. The King that locks the suit. Now you can play it anywhere, anytime, against smart AI opponents.

♠ HOW TO PLAY
Match cards by suit or rank. Empty your hand before everyone else to win. Simple to learn, hard to master — especially when the special cards come out.

🃏 SPECIAL CARDS
- 2 — Next player picks up 2. Stack them to pass the pain on (+4, +6...)
- Joker — Next player picks up 5. Stackable with 2s and other Jokers
- Ace — Cancel a pickup stack OR skip the next player's turn
- 7 — Skip the next player. Counter with your own 7 to pass the skip
- 8 — Wild card. Play on anything and choose the next suit
- Jack — Previous player takes an extra turn (3+ players) or you play again (1v1)
- King — You play again, but your next card must match the King's suit

⚠️ You cannot win with A, J, K, 2, 7, 8, or Joker as your last card. You must draw until you get a normal card to close. Don't forget to call "Last Card!" when you're down to one!

🏆 CAREER MODE
Start as a Rookie and climb through five tiers — Amateur, Pro, Elite, and Champion. Each tier costs points to enter but pays out more when you win. Reach Champion to prove you're the best Makasa player around.

⭐ POINTS ECONOMY
Win Quick Games to earn points. Use points to enter Career games. The harder the difficulty and the more players at the table, the more you earn. Bonus points for calling Last Card, winning without drawing, and winning fast.

🎯 PICK & PLAY MODE
Toggle Pick & Play before your turn to draw a card first, then play any valid card from your hand — including the one you just drew. A strategic move when you're not sure what's coming.

🤖 4 AI DIFFICULTY LEVELS
- Easy — relaxed AI, great for learning the rules
- Medium — smart AI that plays deliberately
- Hard — sharp AI that targets you
- Expert — brutal AI that stacks attacks and plays to win

👥 2 TO 5 PLAYERS
Play 1v1 or bring up to 4 AI opponents to the table. More players means bigger stacks, wilder games, and more points when you win.
