Simple Keyboard With Emojis is a lightweight, open-source keyboard with quick access to a curated selection of emojis.

EMOJI SHORTCUTS
Tap ?123 to open the symbol keyboard, then long-press a number from 1 to 0. Slide to an emoji and release to insert it. For example, find 🤣 by long-pressing 1.

GET STARTED
Open Simple Keyboard With Emojis, enable it in Android keyboard settings, then choose it using your device's keyboard switcher. The exact settings path varies by device.

WANT SILENT TYPING?
Open the app's settings → Key press → turn off Vibrate on keypress. Sound on keypress can be turned off there too. You can also open settings by long-pressing the comma key on the letter keyboard.

PRIVACY
We collect no personal data. The keyboard has no internet permission and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Android displays a standard keyboard warning because keyboards can access typed text. Typing is processed on your device and sent to the app you are using. Keyboard preferences are saved locally and may be backed up by Android. Read the full privacy policy inside the app.

The only requested permission is vibration, for optional keypress feedback.

This keyboard does not include GIFs, spell checking, or swipe typing.

Ratings and reviews

A low RAM product becomes significantly faster (if you uninstall Google keyboard, and make it the primary keyboard). I'm very glad with the products. Hope it's existence as a product as it is right now stays longer.

Great keyboard very light weight and super fast. Contains whats necessary. Only one thing I want to recommend is to add clipboard, so that we can save some text there. Else very nice app I am using from almost 8 months

This is a great fork! The only reason I hesitate to use OG simple keyboard is because there is no emoji support, so thank you! Though it felt a bit awkward having to long press number key to use it. An emoji button would be appreciated!
