When you trigger a Live Location emergency alert, AlertGrid can continue sharing your live, moving location with your pre-approved family members — even if your phone is locked or the app is closed. This is designed for situations where you can no longer interact with your phone yourself, such as a medical emergency or an abduction, so your family can find you. A notification stays visible on your device the entire time this is active, and it stops the moment you resolve the alert. Only your own accepted family members can see this — never the wider community or any other user.
