God awful. No wonder it was free! Says 91% done but I doubt if I can stand to finish it! So many inconsistencies! May I suggest to the author to keep notes on what you've already put in the story so you can keep the story straight!

Witch Happens is the first book in its series. This was my first experience with the author, A.M. King and also with the narrator, Erin Bateman. I am absolutely hooked on this series now. I thought I knew how the storyline was going to proceed, as many predictably do, but was I ever wrong! This book has several incredible twists that can't be anticipated! The characters are fun, and lovably flawed, the dialog flows well, feeling real and natural. There is a perfect amount of humorous snarkiness, most enjoyably from the character Ebony. The narration is excellent. Multiple voices are performed in a subtle, natural manner that is easy to listen to, and not overdone. While listening, I was able to become immersed in the story, and forget that it was being read to me. The pace and volume are smooth and even. This is a tremendous audiobook, that will provide enjoyable listening, and a story with humor, mystery, and unforeseeable happenings that will have the listener completely surprised.
