Easterling has a knack for drawing you into her world. Her language is vivid, her pacing is good, she has a real gift for creating characters who are memorable, quirky, and likeable. I highly recommend this book for fans of Easterling’s werewolf stories. “Hot Shift” is definitely worth reading both to find out how a menopausal werewolf keeps her pack together, and to enjoy the playfulness with which these packmates work together. The audiobook production is great and I enjoyed the narration.
