About this audiobook

Silk & Steel: Eroan, one of the last elven assassins, lives for one purpose: kill the queen. He would have succeeded if not for her last line of defense: Prince Lysander. Why kill just the queen when he can kill them all? It would be simple, if not for the troubled and alluring dragon prince. Iron & Fire: From his mother's cage to a human one, but Lysander's captors are the least of his concerns. Rumors of a monstrous bronze dragon ripple through human camps, a dragon tearing great holes in the world as though searching for something . . . or someone. Amidst the greatest of elven victories, Eroan failed. But when rumors of the dragon prince's survival reach him, he must choose: Fight for his people or fight for the prince who nobody thought to save? Blood & Ice: Lysander has never been free to choose his fate. That is about to change. Finally, he learns what it means to be emerald, but knowledge is power, and power whispers its seductive curse into the ear of a broken prince. But as the dragonkin rise under a new king, will Eroan and Lysander's boundless love save the world or destroy it forever? Contains mature themes.

This was...intense. I don't think I have seen a better example of how bigotry and willful ignorance can wreak havok on an entire civilization. The author doesn't have to use the terms misogyny, homophobia, or racism to clearly show how destructive blind hate can be. Social statement aside, this was a beautiful story about love, faith, and perseverance which Eroan and Lysander need in great quantity to survive because this series takes slow burn romance to epic levels. Cornell Collins voice was wonderful to hear and the narration was beautifully performed. The combination of vivid imagery created by Ariana Nash and Cornell Collin's soothing tones made for a wonderful experience.

About the author

Ariana Nash is a pseudonym of bestselling urban fantasy and science fiction author P. DaCosta. She lives on the Devon and Cornwall border. Visit her at ariananashbooks.com.

Cornell Collins was a hippie, a mod, a punk, a new-romantic, and a new-waver. Now, he proudly calls himself "newly middle aged." Though he has always considered life to have been better in the 70s and 80s, narrating audiobooks has shown Cornell that life in the modern world can, in some ways, be just as good.
