Amature garbage. As a writer with a masters in English, I first noticed the adolescent style and composition. High school level at best. With repetition early on and clunky sentences, it's obvious that this had little to no professional editing. It is essentially a high school essay that obviously fell short and then victim to superfluous padding, such as an entire section on WORLD sun mythology. Yep. You THINK you bought a book on Egyptian mythology, but here's a bonus on Chinese mythology! I understand tie-ins to Greco-Roman beliefs but Chinese? And no, if you're looking for the author to connect it back to Egypt, you'll be disappointed. Best (truly worst) part yet, the Reddit-style argument with a "colleague" on atheism, Christian gods, Egyptian gods, ancient aliens and [the Matrix] simulation. I declare it a draw. They're both unlearned idiots. Oddly enough, the narration is decent. Sounds professional, but don't let that fool you. AVOID! Wikipedia is written better.
