before i rated this book 1 star after finishing 30% of the book. I am to the half way point and came to a realization. The plot is entertaining and draws you in. Her characters on the other hand are flat to say the least. the main character is doing whatever she wants due to plot armor. read this book for plot and ignore the characters 💜.

the story is well written but the narrative is not so good. The woman's accent is too strong and makes it hard to listen to. when the chapter changes the number doesn't match the chapter.

didn't like british narrator for this book. thought some of the characters sounded a bit pouty / childish. possibly due to narrator. also she said Yosemite as of it rhymed with vegemite with three syllables instead of four. little things like that kept grabbing my attention off the story.
