Ignatz Bauer is a conman and a thief. He also has a stolen ship's AI living in his brain, and the intelligence likes it there; he can't get rid of it.

He currently spends his time as an empty nester in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his long-suffering wife of many years, and a far too energetic cavapoo puppy named Lucy.
