The Daleks’ Masterplan is well underway. With the Time Destroyer, the most deadly machine ever devised, they will conquer the Universe. Only one person stands in their way - the Doctor. John Peel was born in Nottingham in 1954. He moved to America in 1981, became the editor of Fantasy Empire and started to write fiction shortly afterwards. His first novel was Uptime, Downtime (1992) and he has since written over a hundred books, including two Doctor Who Target books based on the serial 'The Daleks' Masterplan': Mission to the Unknown and The Mutation of Time.
