This is by far the worst version of Frankenstein I've ever heard. Even the Librivox versions are better than this. The author's inflection is all over the place, words are mispronounced… this book is unlistenable.

excellent and unfortunate tale told with the most eloquent words. better to read than to listen I think, yet the computer generated narration is surprisingly agreeable.

this novel has been on mye 'must read' list and i am eternally grateful to have had it read to me in audiobook format while doing other daily activities. . .many thanks for having it free and it was NOTHING what was expected. . .the film industry really had a hey day turning this into something completely different from the original text. . .mye only 'complaint' is that it was read with a masculine voice as one feels it ought to have been in a feminine voice as the author was a VERY talented female. . .very ahead of her peers and a master of storytelling. ~cheers~
