Ratings and reviews

I'm an hour into this book so far and man it is just not good. Every single character that introduces themselves seems to also makes sure everyone knows their preferred pronouns as well as a bunch of garbage with hashtags and other social-media nonsense. If you are looking for a spiritual successor to snow crash or ready player one this ain't it chief. Also the audio EQ is just terrible the S's are piercing, and the narrator should really not be trying so many accents she is unfamiliar with.

L. X. BECKETT frittered their misbegotten youth working as an actor and theater technician in Southern Alberta, before deciding to make a shift into writing science fiction. Their first novella, “Freezing Rain, a Chance of Falling,” was published in the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction in 2018, and takes place in the same universe as Gamechanger.
