About this audiobook

Marlo: wild-eyed, untamed, and every single thing I've ever wanted from this life. I wasn't ready for her back then. I was a stupid boy with adult feelings and no idea what to do with them. I squandered away every chance she gave me. Yes, a love like ours either burns white-hot or crumbles under the pressure. And now I'm back to sift through the rubble. Questions and excuses are two things I have in spades. What I need now are answers. Answers and Low. Always Low. My name is Ever Montgomery, and this is my story of love resurrected. Contains mature themes.

Dang it. Okay first of all I need to say 3 years after I read the first book I finally get around to reading the second one and I am disappointed. It's not the writing it's a let down because I really needed this one to be as emotional and heartfelt as the first book in the series. That book made such an impact that 3 years later the story line popped back into my head like it was yesterday. I wanted to know how they adjusted not by a quick retelling but in a way that made me feel their healing and watch them come into the people they are when this picks up. This author is amazing which she showed with the first book so yeah it was kind of a let down. Not that it isn't a good read it's just not what I was hoping for and needed for me. I have to say I did enjoy it I just felt like it was missing that link that I had with them. These two have overcome their past now it's time for them to reconcile their past with their present and try for the future they still have harbored and yearned for.

About the author

J. A. DeRouen holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and nursing. When not writing or inhaling romance novels by the stack, she works as a women's health nurse. She's been an avid reader and daydreamer since childhood, and has never stopped turning the page to get to the next happily ever after.

Neva Navarre is an American narrator with a half-French name and full-French sensibilities. She is a firm believer in stories that validate women as sexual beings equal to men but who operate in the mammalian brain, even while in the throes of romance.

A native of New Orleans, Jeremy York grew up playing music and singing long into the early morning. When a multi-band tour spirited him from the French Quarter across the country, he knew that he'd found home when he arrived in Venice, California. Always after a good story, he put his voice to work narrating audiobooks.
