• The focus of this book is what Jesus said about Jesus. It also includes some of what His disciples and Father said about him. Christian culture occupies the largest chapter in the book and is modified from previous books. Topics include the commandments of the Apostles and the proper physical appearance of Christians in society.
• A chapter on the nature of God follows the chapter on culture. Next is a chapter on the use of idols and how people love to lie about their idol usage. Instructions on how to and how not to interpret scripture compose the next chapter, followed by a chapter on how to hold a Christian service or meeting. Also, information designed to help you start a Christian community is provided.
• The purpose of this book is to assist in bringing back to life Christianity. We differentiate Christianity from Chruchianity and religions claiming to be Christian. Mr. FitzMaurice has a variety of formal and advanced training in counseling, which includes Addictions Counseling, Family Therapy, advanced Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), and over 1,650 hours of diverse training for continuing education units (CEUs).
To make the best use of that extensive training, he takes an integrative approach, grounding himself in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (REBT and CBT) and using the other theories to build upon that one core theory, rather than focusing on multiple theories and mastering none of them.
His writings and interests focus on philosophy, psychology, recovery, self-help, and spirituality.
