About this audiobook

Epic fantasy with Dragons and Elves.

Set in a world that is not our own, Legon Awakening takes you through an epic journey into a land full of wonderment, illusion, and innovation.

From the Author

Hello I'm Nicholas Taylor. I just wanted to take a moment to talk about why I wrote the Legon Series. With the Legon books I wanted to pull readers into another world with Elves, Dragons and a race that no one has seen before, the Iumenta. I want people to see the Legon world, and it's characters the way I see them. I also wanted to write a book that everyone could enjoy, from the person who has been reading fantasy their whole life, to someone who maybe is just getting into the genre. So it's with that in mind that I hope you enjoy reading Legon Awakening as much as I enjoyed writing it.

From the Reviews:

"Ripping good fantasy with a wicked bite!"

- Bestselling Author Brian Rathbone

"Taylor is a brilliant writer in his use of structure and traditional elements of story telling. The arc of the story proceeds well and the plot is articulated and clear. The characters, however, are the strong part of this book. You love some and you hate others. You laugh, you cry and their trials affect you while you are reading. "

I thought the story itself had potential but got really bored with the misogynistic undertones and woman patronizing language. Found myself rolling my eyes often. The narratation was a bit of a drone but okay. Did not like his British accents at all! Pretty cringe. Would have preferred him to just stick with his own accent all the way through.

It was a little slow in the beginning only because you have to meet all the characters in the story Once you knew the chacters and their back stories the adventure took off. I liked the character development and before you knew it I felt as if I was on the road with them them. The author had a real talent for describing the setting that I felt like I was on the open road with them . Looking forward to reading the net one !

I found myself really rooting for the main characters in the story. I felt like this book started off really slow. but as the characters develop you find yourself making bonds with a character in a book. I find myself invested in the book series now. I just finished downloading the second book in the series and can't wait to see what happens next.
