This series is one of the best written stories I have ever come across. Traditionally I am more of an epic fantasy follower, however, after having read the books and then listened to the audiobooks, I have fallen in love with this series! What starts as a lonely little man with a disability, turns into a savior of worlds. Turner is by far one of the best and worst "hero's". He bungles things up, and thinks the worst of himself, however, he pulls himself up and takes care of the town and alternate world that he has fallen in love with. Throughout the series you see Turner become a broken man and throughout the tragedies that he stumbles into, he becomes a man of action. Do yourself a favor, buy the audiobooks! Jake Bible has the best voice, and it fits Turner to the T.
