This is a cute short story about how alpha werewolf Gunner reacts to his kitsune mate Mai’s first pregnancy. Intended to be read after the Moon Marked series, this short from Gunner’s point of view offers a little bit of suspense and some humor. The narration by Jack Nolan is competent.

I enjoyed this entire series and hope it continues to tell more of the back story.
