Treasury of Mindfulness begins by outlining the key principles of mindfulness and how to develop the practice in everyday life. Then there is the Treasury itself. Each entry in the Treasury features one of four different kinds of mindfulness tools: A Mindful Meditation - the formal practice by which we can develop our ability to live mindfully. Everyday Mindfulness – simple ways in which to incorporate mindfulness into the things we do every day. Mindful Ideas – these are all things that the author has found to be really beneficial to his practice and have helped him live more mindfully. They are fun and will add a different, more relaxed quality to your life if you do them regularly. One-Minute Mindfulness – in times of stress, anxiety, panic or frustration, we are not always in a position to sit quietly and meditate for even a few minutes. There are lots of mindful techniques to help us in moments of turmoil and some of the most useful of these are featured in the One-Minute Mindfulness exercises. Also included is a separate chapter focusing on mindfulness for kids which features fun mindful activities especially for children.

About the author

Paddy Brosnan is a mindfulness and meditation teacher, inspirational speaker and author. In his early 30s, Paddy experienced a radical shift in how he wanted to live his life. This marked the beginning of an intense inward journey of spiritual development. He left the world of business and devoted the next several years to developing his awareness through the practice of mindfulness and meditation and is honoured to include The Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh and The Ven. Panchen Otrul Rinpoche among his teachers and inspirations. In the years since, he has devoted himself to understanding and deepening this transformation. He lives in Dublin, Ireland.

Cecelia Ramsdale is an experienced voice actor, spending many hours behind the microphone voicing hundreds of commercials, video scripts and audiobooks, as well as playing numerous characters in the children’s animated series Sumo Mouse, Flea Bitten and SheZow. She has narrated audiobooks for both children and adults, and for years has hosted The Wellness Collective – a podcast that arms women with information about how to live happier and healthier lives, alongside women's health expert, Nat Kringoudis. Cecelia is passionate about working with her voice, and trains others wanting to give their voice a try.
