About the author
Peter Mayle (1939-2018) spent fifteen years in the advertising business before escaping to write books, including his bestselling A Year in Provence and Toujours Provence. His work has been translated into seventeen languages and he contributed to a variety of newspapers and magazines.
Patrick Macnee (1922-2015) gained worldwide fame and popularity as John Steed in the classic British television series The Avengers. During the 1980s and 1990s, he became a familiar face on American television in such series as Empire and Night Man. Patrick recorded a number of audiobooks including eight of Jack Higgins' thrillers.
