S. C. Grayson is the author of the Defenders of the Light series and the Talented series. When she is not writing, Grayson is a nurse working towards a PhD in nursing with a focus on breast cancer genetics. She lives in Pittsburgh with her loving husband and their two cats.

Eleanor McCormick is a classically trained actor and narrator based in New York City. She has a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
