I started reading as a fan and hey. i was there in 1987 watch the Girls tour in Chatanooga. Guns N Roses were on the stage. My friends and iI were smoking weed saying " who is that guy on stage dancing like a chicken? They sound ok but we want Motley!"After hearing everything Nikki was going through at that time and how he came out of it is truley a inspration. The man will always rock!

Read it 10 years ago along with "This is Gonna Hurt"..... Both books were worth every penny and more. I've read alot of Roc Docs and these were by far my favorites!

Aside from being a rock n' roll star, I basically found myself in the same rut as Nikki. It is men and women like Sixx all the way down to normal every day people like myself that sometimes need to hear and see it for real...anything is possible and success will follow if you really want what is best for yourself first. Nikki has always been an idol to me through music as well as the similarities of a year under a dark cloud. If he made it through and I made it through then so can anyone else with the will power to make the right decision whether its prior to addiction or post. Much love to Nikki and The Crew.
