This was one of Coville's best. If I was given a chance to change something in it, I would change absolutely nothing. I felt a heart wrenching sorrow when he mentioned Halloween being celebrated in school, and I realized that this is no longer the case for most schools. Cultural division has severed this once happy memory for me for the generations that follow. I miss those days, and I pity the next generations for never experiencing this as a class. Alas, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year, too.
