Mary K Pershall was born in the mid-west of United States. After finishing university, Mary emigrated to Australia and teached English to migrants at a Melbourne high school. She then became an editor and writer for Pursuit, a magazine published for teenagers by the Victorian Ministry of Education. Mary has written a number of novels and picture books, including the critically acclaimed You Take the High Road. Mary lives in Melbourne with her husband and two daughters.
Stig Wemyss is Australia’s most loved audiobook narrator for children and young adults. He has lent his voice to the work of some of Australia’s most accomplished authors, including Andy Griffiths, Paul Jennings, Tim Winton, Marcus Zusak, Margaret Clarke and, most recently, Andrew Daddo.
