Serial killers come in all shapes and sizes, but this one is particularly puzzling. Charles L. Grant (1942–2006) was the creator and executive producer of The X-Files television series, as well as a frequent writer for the show. He also wrote and produced the feature film. He won a World Fantasy Award for his novella collection Nightmare Seasons and Nebula Awards for his short stories “A Crowd of Shadows” and “A Glow of Candles, a Unicorn’s Eye.”
Patrick Lawlor is an accomplished audiobook narrator, stage actor, director, and combat choreographer. The recipient of an AudioFile Earphones Award, he was also a finalist for an Audie Award.
