Ratings and reviews

Theres a number of things that happen and I have no idea why or how they happened. Like, she's going to go meet a vampire and they're suddenly torturing her, like she didn't just go willingly. It's sudden big action scenes and half way through I'm like how did this happen where did this come from?? Maybe because it's from the 90s it feels a bit cheese and try hard.

Phenomenal book by one of my favorite authors period. Beautifully constructed story that is insanely well written.

Read this years ago, was delighted to hear the audio version!
