About this audiobook

After a lifetime of exploring on her own terms, the author calls this eclectic collection of stories her midlife crisis. And she's determined to pull you along with her.

It's curious how visiting unfamiliar places can illuminate just who we are and where we are from. Sometimes, it's better than looking in a mirror or walking about our hometown.

Embark, from an overnight at a South Carolina treehouse (albeit with spiders and snakes) to being held captive by a boatman haggling for extra Rupees. Or, accompany her as she wrestles a halibut off the Alaskan coast, wears bruises like medals after a stint on a dog sled team and ventures into narrow caves where a single wave could scatter hundreds of bats. And just keep still as she tries to avoid buying a cow at a cattle auction. With dry wit and deep insight, you'll be alternately entertained and pleasantly jolted.

"The world is just waiting for you to come dance." ---TMLL

About the author

Tina Marie L. Lamb, at her core, is simply an unabashed travel addict, no apology. She may settle down and get a gold fish some day. But not yet! She comes from a working class family in a New England mill town. She was gifted with parents generous in their moral support. She is a former labor union president. She is the winner of many public speaking contests. She has a Girl Scout sash full of badges. She received good grades but is no scholarly wonder. She is no athlete but has successfully hiked, biked, paddled and climbed all over the world.
