I’d never listened to an audiobook performed by AI before so I decided to give it a try to see if this was something I’d like. I’d read the book before and liked the story so this was the perfect opportunity. As expected, the AI voices were stiff and took some getting used to. There were pauses that wouldn’t occur naturally and pronunciation of some words were off. Once I started to pay attention to the story I forgot about the voices. Overall, 4 stars for the story and 3 stars for the narration

This is the first AI-spoken book I've read, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the narration. There were occasional glitches in emphasis in the reading, but I found it easy to listen to, and the price, at $4.99 compared to an actor-read book, was significantly less.
