هي قصة تاجر ناجح يدعى «حمدان» دفعت به الأقدار في إحدى الأيام، إلى وادٍ من الوديان، فأخذ يقطف من فاكهته ويأكل من كل دان، ويلقي بنوى تمره في كل مكان، فإذا بهذا النوى يقتل غلامًا من غلمان الجان، لأن النوى مسحور بسحر وزير النبي سليمان، فأراد المارد الانتقام لابنه بقتل حمدان، إلا أن حمدان وعده أن يرجع إليه بعد عام أو أكثر بعد أن يودع الأهل والإخوان، ويوفّي حق كل ديان. فهل ستحفظ العهد أم ستخلفه يا حمدان؟!
