لأول مرة يتركها منذ سنين طوال، يتذكر يوم وفاة الزعيم الراحل جمال .. ويوم مقتل الرئيس المؤمن السادات..واليوم و لأول مره في حياته يذهب إلى حيث لجنته الانتخابية للتصويت الذهبي للرئاسة, فمنذ أن ترك كل ما يرتبط به من حياة نشئ فيها وقطن في آخر صعيد مصر, من يومها لم يترك تلك البلدة التي احتوته وضمته و تشربت بشرته من سمرة شمسها ,وامتلأت عروقه من نهر حبها, وذرات التراب التي عشق رائحتها.
