Acerca de este libro electrónico

'Amar Baitullah Ziarat' (My Sacred Journey to the House of Allah) is an account of personal experience composed in Bengali by late Alhajj Maulvi Mohammad Mutiur Rahman Sahib of Bangladesh. In 2005, the author had the opportunity to undertake the journey to Mecca and Medina as a pilgrim where he visited of highly significant, historical and spiritual places.

The author has narrated his Hajj experience for the benefit of the mass people who intend to perform Hajj or the pilgrimage to Mecca. This personal Hajj experience was published in the The Ahmadi, a fortnightly magazine of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at, Bangladesh during the period from 31 October to 15 December, 2007.

In this book the author along with his personal experience has clearly narrated the history of Mecca and Ka'ba, the background of Hajj and has explained almost all the rituals therein. He vividly elaborated the significance and importance of Hajj in the light of the Holy Quran, the sayings of the Holy Prophet Hadhrat Muhammadsa (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the priceless writings of the Promised Messiahas (may peace be upon him).

The fifth tanet of Islamic rituals are the performing of the Hajj. A Muslim must perform this pilgrimage at least once in his lifetime if his financial and and other conditions prove propitious. The focal point of this pilgrimage is the Ka'ba, which was rebuilt by Prophet Abrahamas some 4,000 years ago. Today, the Ka'ba stands in the middle of a large courtyard of Masjid-al-Haram or the Sacred Mosque. The courtyard of Masjid al Haram contains, besides Ka'ba, the Maqam-e-Ibrahim and the fountain of Zamzam.
