การประกอบธุรกิจของบริษัทหรือห้างหุ้นส่วนนิติบุคคลไม่ว่าจะเป็นธุรกิจขายสินค้า กิจการอุตสาหกรรม หรือกิจการให้บริการต้องมีการจัดทำบัญชีและเสียภาษีอากร ทั้งนี้จะมีเงินทุน ทรัพย์สิน หนี้สิน รายได้ และค่าใช้จ่ายในการประกอบกิจการเท่าใดก็ตามจะต้องมีการจัดทำบัญชีและเสียภาษีอากรทุกประเภท ในการจัดทำบัญชีของกิจการจะต้องเป็นไปตามพระราชบัญญัติการบัญชี พ.ศ. 2543 หลักการบัญชี และมาตรฐานการบัญชี ส่วนการเสียภาษีอากรจะต้องปฏิบัติตามประมวลรัษฎากรที่ได้บัญญัติไว้ในแต่ละส่วน
