「公路排水設計規範」自民國76年3月13日首頒施行，旨在建立可供全國公路排水工程設計者、審核者以及相關從業人員共同遵循之準繩。 鑒於水土保持技術規範於103年9月11日公告修訂，考量本規範引用之參考資料更新，因應不斷進步的工程方法及近年全球氣候變遷影響，需定期檢討本規範並進行修正或補充，以符合公路排水工程之需求。 本次修訂規範之內容包括： 第一章「總則」，修訂規範條文之「設計步驟」及「構造物設計」。 第二章「基本資料蒐集調查及設計考慮」，增列「全生命週期」章節，並修訂規範條文之「施工期間應考量事項」。 第三章「設計流量決定」，修訂規範條文之「設計重現期距」。 第四章「渠道設計」，修訂規範條文之「出水高度」。 第五章「路面排水設計」，增列「沉沙池配合設計考量」分項設計規定，並修訂規範條文之「橋面排水」。 第七章「橋梁水力設計」，修訂更新附錄S「橋基沖刷深度估算參考公式」中，適用於清、濁水沖刷之修正CSU公式。
