去年秋天，光明日報出版社約我為一部人生感悟書當編輯，希望我「以常人的角度，編輯一本非哲學專家之筆完成的人生感悟書，為今天人文精神的構建提供多一個範例！」我喜歡文字，但只是對文學而言，喜歡的是那種下筆千言的瀟灑，更確切地說是喜歡詩歌、散文、小說這些形象性的東西，亦常說理論是灰色的，生命之樹常青。我生無慧根，對於哲學和感悟之書，不感興趣。
