佛瑞德．卡洛普 (Fred Krupp)╱畢業於耶魯大學和密西根大學法學院，擔任「環境保衛基金會」（Environmental Defense Fund）董事長已23年，被公認是運用市場力量達成積極環保目標的先驅。他也是是推動1990年〈清淨空氣法〉（Clean Air Act）的重要功臣，該法被《經濟學人》譽為過去10年以來最偉大的環保功蹟。卡洛普曾擔任多任美國總統的顧問，也和杜邦公司、聯邦快遞、通用電氣、麥當勞和沃爾瑪等企業合作，協助這些企業減輕對環境造成的負面影響。
米莉安．洪恩 (Miriam Horn)╱畢業於哈佛大學，並於哥倫比亞大學修習環境科學。她曾任職於美國森林管理局（U.S. Forest Service），並曾任《浮華世界》（Vanity Fair）和《紐約時報》主筆，目前在環境保衛基金會服務，著有《白手套的反抗》（Rebels in White Gloves）。
