來自日本的ASPARK宣布將在今年巴黎車展展出一部以挑戰世界最高加速表現為目標的Hyper超跑－Owl。總公司設於日本大阪的ASPARK於2005年創立，其事業本體是工程師的外包服務。旗下約2300名員工中有九成是工程師，透過承接外包案方式讓這些工程師參與機界、店機、IT、化學等各個領域的企業開發計畫。
ASPARK為了在電動車界帶來新的價值觀，於是從2014年著手進行Owl的開發。與汽油引擎車相比，電動車在一起步後就能立刻得到高扭力的優勢是ASPARK相當在意的。他們在2014年時就已經用電動房車做到0-100km/h加速只要2.1秒的成績，而在今年他們更成功地用這部Hyper超跑做到1.89秒的成績，只需要2秒鐘就可以從靜止加速到105km/h。
有著誇張加速性能的Owl在售價上也同樣誇張，將以350萬歐元的價格在巴黎車展中接受預定，限量僅生產50台。銷售對象雖然是全世界，但仍是以歐洲地區為主，也因此在製造上會委託歐洲車廠來負責。
