About the author

芮安牟於二零零三至二零一二年擔任香港高等法院原訟庭法官，專責處理海事以及仲裁案件；其他曾由芮安牟專責處理的案件包括建築糾紛以及司法覆核等。

芮安牟為哈佛經濟系學士，畢業後赴劍橋完成法律學士、碩士以及博士學位。他於一九八五年取得英國大律師資格，並於一九八六及一九九五年分別在香港及新加坡取得大律師和出庭辯護人資格。二零零一年被香港司法機構認可為資深大律師。

芮安牟現任教於香港大學法律系，並擔任海牙國際私法會議組織的亞太區代表。

同時亦接受仲裁員委任，在仲裁中代表當事人。

譯者簡介

陳星楠畢業於英屬哥倫比亞大學 (UBC) 政治系，其後取得香港大學法律博士 (J.D.) 學位，現為香港大律師。
