Covid-19 酒業災情特報
2021年5月15日，全台進入了前所未見的戰時狀態。為避免Covid-19新冠肺炎大規模擴散，中央流行疫情指揮中心將台北市與新北市的疫情警戒提升至第三級；5月19日，警戒範圍擴大至台灣全島，除全國各級學校停止上課，休閒娛樂場所一律關閉外，餐飲業也逐漸限縮營業項目，由最初內用需實名登記，最後只准提供外帶服務，許多業者甚至主動停業以響應防疫政策。
儘管政府後來提出了對相關業者的補助措施，但少了內用與酒水業績，即使外帶外送需求快速增加，全國大小餐館與菸酒專的生計依然大受影響，而酒店酒吧更是幾乎全面停擺，哀鴻遍野。
在這波疫情悲歌下，酒類相關行業者堪稱是「爹不疼娘不愛」的最慘受災戶，除了《菸酒管理法》第30條規定牢牢掐住了業者咽喉，即飲通路的業態也不利發展外送業務。
