“미안해… 은경 씨… 나도 모르게 여기까지 왔는데….” 순간 울화가 치밀었다. 그래서 과장님의 뺨을 때렸다. “정신 차려요. 이런다고 인생 끝나는 것도 아닌데!” 과장님은 고개를 푹 숙이고 안경을 벗었다. 나는 순간 이러다 오늘 양쪽 뺨 다 맞는 건가 라는 생각을 했다. 그런데 예상치 못한 말이었다. “한… 번만 더 때려 줄래요…?” 뭐야…. 이런 거 진짜 있어? 난 꽤 개방적이지만 여러 가지로 명명된 용어들에는 관심이 없었다. 그래도 생각보다 꽤 당황스러웠다. 당하는 쪽이 S인지 M인지 아리송한 지경이었다. 뭐면 어떠랴. 나는 반대쪽 뺨도 때렸다.
